I gave it 5...but it doesnt feel right to have voted on this poem...it's well written...etc etc but it's really more of a confession than a poem, no? so it feels to me as if i have been asked to review someones personal diary.

I love this poem as much as I love the lyrics to Bob Dylan'S 'SUGER BABY' the song begins 'I got my back to the sun because the light is to intense..... this poem reminds me of that song...... great write

Hello Hayley I read your poem over and over, and over many times, and it is an excellent poem, to have loved someone as this love you write about, is truely one to remember even if it turned sour in the end, you must have given your all, only to have it tossed away through deceipt and lies, each lie tears things apart a little more until they are no longer a little tear but a big rip in the fabrique, I noticed that you answered your own question in the 3rd to last stanza,

"who will safe, (save) me from this place, why was I so blind,
n every fear hides a wish, (answer) the savior of mankind, that is so very truem I especially like the last line,
the hardest thing about searching for the truth.... Is that sometimes we find it.

so keep up the good work my friend, and I hope that everyone reads your poem like I did, and digests each section before moving on to the next, definately a 5 for you Harry
