Love is only a Feeling

In the darkness,
Everything I feel,
Is so intense,
And deadly real,

I can't think,
I can't see straight,
I can't be myself,
I can't believe my fate,

No sleep no concentration,
In the shadows of my life,
Night falls on me,
I fall for the knife,

Some day I will overcome,
The haunted dreams,
That consumes my mind,
In a land of fantasies,

Everything I’ve searched for,
I got but lost in a second,
Put down and broken,
Nothing more to beckon,

Crying tears through hazel eyes,
Drawing blood 24/7,
Suicidal thoughts always there,
Wanting to escape, and go to heaven,

I’ve laid awake in bed to many times,
Stared into the endless ceiling,
All because of a dream that won’t come true,
Love is only a feeling.
