Why Did You Do It?

by Eva   May 8, 2005

Why did you do it?
You had every reason not to
You were the perfect one
It didn't have to be done

Why did you do it?
We wouldn't have known the difference
We were sinners and still are
But yet you wear the scar

Why did you do it?
We whipped you and slashed you
We nailed you to the tree
But still you died just for me

Why did you do it?
You did it so we could be with you
So we could have eternal life
For a chance that we may not have strife

That's why you did it!
