I need to know
What you think about me
If you still want to be why friend
If we were ever meant to be

I need to know
If you’re happy with your friend
Because when we had finished
My heart wouldn’t mend

I need to know
If you still care about what I have to say
And if that is a yes
How come you left and went away?

I need to know
If you’re happy with how you look
Because I know you are
I can read you like a book

I need to know
If you would ever come back
To be why friend
Because you are what I lack

I need to know
If you would ever be my friend again
So I could be happy now
Like it was back then
