No One Around

by Erin   May 8, 2005

Staring out the window into the blank night,
Is where she wastes all the years of her life.

Her hopes are lost, her dreams shattered.
Nothing in her life seems to matter.

As each drop of rain falls to the ground,
Another piece from her soul and heart are torn down.

Each night she wallows in her tears,
And each day she silently reminisces in her fears.

She's got nowhere to turn, nowhere to run,
No one to go to when the day is done.

She's screaming for an answer of why she's misunderstood.
Yet she knows what's needed and would get it if she could.

But she can't change love, no matter how hard she tries.
All she can do is watch the rain fall down and hopelessly cry.
