Fire/Ice

When all has gone into deep night
And when nobody's left to fight
What will be left to remember
The cold of ice or fire's ember

Time is passing slowly by us
Soon all people will just be dust
But two things there will always be
Two things above all the debris

I know this now and i will never
Never forget and always remember
Ice and fire / beginning and end
Their purposes you cannot bend

The fire will soon melt the ice
Then water comes and pays the price
And that's the end of all the fire
But when it's back it will burn higher

Do we go to Hell, or does Heaven Ascend?
Does it matter where we go
