go beyond the fact that I like you
It's because you're a friend
one that would be there for me
if I really needed it

when my friends act this way

and I not know what's even going on
I want to help you
in some way
even if it's just being there for you
I want you to be able to turn to me
for help
or even a shoulder to cry on
I wish that you would trust me
