I Remember

I remember she loved me,
I remember she cared,
I remember when I needed her,
She's always be there.

She helped me through
So many things.
Her memory lingers,
In my dreams.

I remember the funeral,
I didn't even cry.
I remember asking repeatedly
Why? Why? Why?

I remember the moment
I found out she was dead
I remember everything that happened,
And all that was said.

I wanted to see her
The day she was buried,
But the wreck was too bad,
So they would not let me.

All I wanted
Was to say goodbye,
Tell her i love her,
And that i had lied.

They said she didn't
Feel any pain.
They thought I'd feel better,
But it's still the same.

She was my family,
And my best friend,
I can't help but wonder,
If I'll ever see her again...
