Attempted Suicide

The music is playing softly
The blood is running slowly
My body going numb
As more blood is flowing
The light is going dim
The music floating away
Though the radio is next to my ear
On the bathroom floor
Were i lay
I can barley move my hands
Though they are both shaking
The suddenly the light is bright
I can feel my body waking
The music is gone
I can hear Mama crying
But i see a strangers face
And then i realize
This damned stranger
Has stopped me from dying
Now i see Papas face
Tears brimming his eyes
Now they both know everything
Of the fake smiles...
And "I'm ok" lies
My wrists are bandaged up
I feel so guilty
They're both so worried..
And even brother his fussing over me
I didn't understand
The pain had felt so good
Why hadn't they let me go..?
I must have been thinking out loud
For Mama kissed a tear
Whispered in my ear
"Because we love you so"
