Oh, sorry to double post >_< but the reason my poems lately have not been so uplifting is because I believe God is taking me through the whole "fire" process. He's burning away the old things, and bringing new things into my life. I don't mean to make my poems seem so depressing, but I honestly do know that God is going to take care of me and I always try to include Him in my writings, but it just always doesn't turn out that way. But, just to let you know, I am trusting Him and I know He will take care of me. :)

I never thought of the comparison between cigarettes and the alienation/death of people. Interesting concept... and of course beautiful poem. :)
