Beautiful Creature

by Lost but Smiling   May 10, 2005

Sick and Twisted
it crawls through the dark.
It's distorted skin, hangs off onto it's strange body,
by only a thread.
Despite how it looks, it is truly beautiful.
Only I can see it for what it truly is.

The thing is a beautiful creature of darkness.
An angel, that is only valued for appearance
(Which is nothing)
The thing's soul is what captivates me.
So lovely is it's spirit, that it saves me,
from all outside attacks.
My beautiful creature of darkness...

If my creature is to be ridiculed,
then into the depths of hell,
I shall follow it.
For I will care for my creature,
as it cares for me.
For my beautiful creature of darkness is not what it seems...
Only few can see it for it's true beauty...
Others ask,
"What is that THING?!"

The thing is a beautiful creature of darkness.
An angel, that is only valued for appearance
(Which is nothing)
The thing's soul is what captivates me.
So lovely is it's spirit, that it saves me,
from all outside attacks.
My beautiful creature of darkness...
