Empathy

by »«¤ß詤»«   May 10, 2005

I look beyond that pain
the tears in which she drowns
I see beneath her soul
far beyond the frowns

alone in the dyeing darkness
she sits and cries out her eyes
If only for a minute
I could take away the lies

the screeching of the door
Is all that can be heard
over her quiet weeps and sobs
that keeps her vision blurred

I look into my soul
and try to understand her grief
feel what shes lost
while I watch her sink like lost leaf

I start to read her spirit
deep down in her inner core
I see things I never
thought I'd see before

*I had to write this for English and i had guide lines to follow so its not that great and sorry everyone Ive been really busy and have had a massive writers block*
