Song of the Unsung

by Leah20   May 10, 2005

Spread out in front of me
a new notebook
The scenes of my life played out within
a new journey

I do not know where I shall be
When I am to come across the final page
Whether misery shall hold her unflenching hand on my throat
Whether I shall cast her down in her rage

But flipping through this notebook you see
Will give you some insight on the way I percieve
The world around through it's joys and sorrows
The hope of seeming unending tomorrows

So fourth from the loins
Of my spiral refuge shall come
The continuation of this saga
The song of the unsung

~*The first stanza won't come out right on this site, I'm not sure why, but the 2nd and 4th lines are supposed to be indented... oh well*~

I think that notebook would have had far more information then the poem ever could. Just like in politics all talk but nothing really said sorry to say...

This is a very pretty poem. It's very creative and i'm sure it has a personal meaning hidden between the lines.
