"We'll be best friends forever"
That's what they always say
But I forget to listen
Cuz they always leave someday

Sometimes they leave with boyfriends
Other times they leave for no reason
And that makes you wanna argue
But please try hard to be descent

"Best Friends" begins to drift away
Far from sight and mind
By now I should be used to it
This happens all the time

You tell me that you'd die for me
And you know I'd do the same
But you became a backstabber
Now I cringe at the sound of your name

I hate you for how much you hurt me
I just wanted someone there
To lend a shoulder for my crying eyes
To help to show that they care

You've ruined it for everyone
I don't want a best friend again
Because this is how I always end up
Sad and crying alone in the end
