XX_A_Sad_Lullaby_XX

As she sits in her room
Lying down on her bed
Her mind begins to wander
Thoughts going in and out of her head

She knows she has nothing
No one by her side
She's alone in darkness
And a tear starts to fall from her eye

Unexplained by hurt
And she can't seem to function right
For when she closes her eyes
Her body becomes tense and tight

She looks for love
Or at least someone to care
To realize she's slowly dying
And that life just isn't fair

All she ever wanted
Was someone to lend out a hand
To sit by her at night and talk
And do their best to understand

See she watched her dad die
While her mother went insane
She was left all alone
And she had nothing left to gain

At school she was invisible
No one bothered to see
That her life crumbled before her
And how she wasn't happy

Abandoned by God
Left by Family
Nothing but a shadow
There was nothing she could be

So night began to fall
And she realized she could take no more
For she had nothing
And no reason to live for

So she wrote a tiny letter
Explaining her death
And that she had no way out
With her final breath

She picked up the gun
And said a little prayer
Saying this would've never happened
If only one person cared

She pulled the trigger
And was embraced in God's glory
And with that it was done
So ends my sad lullaby story...
