The Journey

by M J U   May 11, 2005

I was walking
and found a path.
Curiosity became me
so I followed,
hoping it would lead me to you.
Now more curious
I pursued some tracks
I felt belonged to you.
At times I believed that I
was wandering aimlessly.
I truly didn't know who I
was following, or why?
I only knew I had to find you.
I reached a clearing
and there you stood
in the opening of my life.
The clouds drifted away and
the sunshine streamed through.
You were transformed
before my eyes
into a brilliance I have never seen.
Like diamonds glitter
I was entranced by your luster.
It was then I knew
I had found you.

This was so sweet. The imagery was wonderful! I had a clear picture of what you wrote. 5/5. I look forward to more:)
