The Blade

by Jessica   May 11, 2005

The blade looks good
The pills look best
forever on
my head will rest
the pain does last
my tears do swell
my life forever
never ending Hell

You people joke.
My friends do taunt.
None of them see
what i really want.
To end this now
is what i wish.
I figured how
a deadly kiss.

The blade be lips.
My wrist be gloss.
The relief is worth
this mighty cost.
My head it slips.
My arm does fall.
You enter slowly.
Back against the wall.

My wish is granted.
My deed is done.
You could have stopped this,
but hate has won.
My life is short,
but guilt lasts long.
I leave now forever,
but please be strong.

I know you loved me
My truest friend.
Be happy for me.
My pain is at its end.
My lips they quiver.
Your name they speak.
My heart it flutters.
My pulse is weak.

Remember me always
My only friend.
Goodbye forever.
This is my end.
You could have saved me,
But I never told you.
My burden to carry
I will always love you.
