No where to go

by Jenn   May 11, 2005

The words seep through my mind, but they never come out right. It's like going on a trip. For hours and hours, you know exactly where you're going. But when you get there, you're not where you thought you were. You're just lost. You're like a homeless man. You've nowhere to go. You just roam. Searching for someone decent enough to show you the way. But there's no one. Everyone just gives you a funny look, and is one their way. On the outside you act hard, nothing can hurt you. But on the inside, all you want is a companion. Someone to be there when you have no where else to go. Someone who will always look at you with love in their eyes. Someone who will never run away. Someone to take you in and comfort you. Give you a home. To give you happiness like you've never known. And when you find that person, you don't realize it, becaus you're too wrapped up in trying to maintain your tough exterior. You lose the one thing you have secretly wished for your entire life. Now, you run. And leave them alone, leading the life you hated.Alone. Helplessly searching for someone to give them what they so desperately tried to give you.
