Fear of rejection
Fear of being forgotten
Left behind, alone
Nobody's here, knock on the door?
Why would you?
You know nobody's home.
Maybe, just maybe somebody is home?
Open the door, open your heart.
But nobody's home.
A cold empty house.
Standing alone, being forgotten
Rejected, left behind.
What's the difference between a house and a heart?
They're both strong and sturdy
They both accept and give.
But once forgotten, and left behind
They break, deteriorate.
One feels, the other is just merely worldly materials.
So why put one up against the other?
A heart is a home for love
And isn't home where the hearts is?
Hearst break, houses fall.
What's the use?
Nobody can stop it
The cycle of love
One big messed up dream.
Reality?
It's what you've always wanted.
So do it.
Knock on the door.
Why not knock on many doors?
Somebody is bound to open up and let you in.
Or,
Has somebody already let you in and you just don't realize it
Like people always say,
What your looking for,
Is usually staring you straight in the eye,
or is right under your nose.
Can't you smell it?
But wait,
Love and life,
They aren't always sunshine and rainbows.
People deal when life sucks.
How 'bout another hand?
Things get better,
Life moves on.
You'll always wonder, miss,
Thought of what you had and what you lost.
What would of happened had you stayed together?
Nobody knows.
It's a mystery unto it's self.
Or, is it just a mystery unto me?
A girl, a best friend, a sister, a daughter.
Somebody whose past is like yours,
And yet, it's different.
So be happy, cheer up.
In the words of Forest Gump
"Life is like a box fo chocolates."
You'll never know what's around the corner.
Follow your dreams, your heart.
And don't ever, ever,
Forget those who changed your life.
So, what happened to the pain, the sorrow?
it blew away with the wind.
But left the memories, the lessons.
It left the happiness and love.
That's all that matters.
The End
