This is my world

Covering her eyes
so no one can see
beneath the surface
she hid beneath

crying all day
no one would no
shed hide everything
nothing shed show

her marks on her arms
she made with her knife
she covered them up
hoping to get on with life

wishing her pain
would soon come to an end
hoping shed find
some better friends

she lost most of her friends
because they were ashamed
from everything she did
from holding so much pain

her heart was torn
at the age of 13
she cried only inside
thats also the only place she'd scream

lost in a place
of madness and stress
hiding everything she could
nothing she could confess

holding so tightly
just to keep living
her heart hasn't seem
to be mending

she felt it was time
for her to leave
she was sick
of hiding all the tears and screams

she had to find a way
out of this world
she only needed a friend
but everyone found her a hopeless girl

shed lie there hopeless
holding nothing but pain
it was so intense
words couldn't explain

she could feel her heart
she was so confused
living a life
so torn and bruised
