This is good but I think you should expand a little bit more to get your ideas across. Maybe one more stanza expanding on 'contrived by men' idea? Anyway apart from that I thought this was written quite originally, it's completely too the point, there is no fluff or anything around it, gives it more feeling.

I really like the reference to Coventry.
