If you never told me you loved me, I would still know it.
If you never said it would be me and you forever, I would still know it.
If you never spoke a word about our friendship, devotion, and trust, I would still know it existed.
I know this because as each day goes by, I feel you inside me. Your emotions flow through me like they are my own. We have an unspoken connection that will forever be the voice in my head telling me everything is ok. I am safe with you. I am protected by a love that words cannot describe. I am not afraid or unsure of the unknown. I revel in the notion that no matter what path I take in life, you will be holding my hand, guiding me with an unbreakable strength.
And if I am never able to think of the words to tell you how much I love you, need you, or how I am completed by you, I need you to know that I thank you. Not for the things you’ve done or said, but for the things that you didn’t have to say or do.
