Senseless

by Foresaken_Tears   May 12, 2005

The sweet smell of a summer breeze,
Has turned to stagnant dew,
And laughing, happy smiles are now,
So far between and few,

A knowing smile plays upon,
My shadow ridden face,
Whilst heart and mind, contentedly,
Drift through a brighter place,

Imprisoned much too far away,
From sanity laden thoughts,
And in my eyes a tomb of tears,
Which, each moment I've fought,

Forever doesn't seem so long,
When time is doomed to cease,
So,
Farewell to this eternity,
Ive spent upon my knees.

Although it is short i think this poem is amazingly good. You have good talent for finding original words to use.
    Keep it up hun
