God, Only You Can

by Anne Conner   May 12, 2005

God, only you can know,
What to do ,
When my life spins out of control.

How can I get back on my feet,
When I'm about to drop,
When I'm so weak.

You know whether I've hit the ground,
And will pick me up,
You'll make my footing sound.

God, only you can catch me,
And be there when I've fallen,
When I'm unable to see.

I really liked this poem, it's so true! The last stanza didn't really seem to finish it off though, perhaps another more finite stanza would fit. Anyway, great job overall!

Not your greatest rhythm, Anne, but a beautiful message with short but meaningful content. I like this one, great write. Take care, God bless,
