By Her Side I will stay

This poem is about my friend. I love her so much. She doesn't go to the same school as me, but we still are really great friends.~This poem is all true, and I'd appreciate it if you voted and commented. By the way. I know this works good in love since that's what it's about. But it's about my friend. So I though it would be good here.

Both at such a young age
But the feelings were real
Two started to like each other
No doubt in how they feel

At first they would just flirt
And then he asked her out
It was all so cute at first
They were what the whole school talked about

But she had a fear
That lurked deep inside
About the old girl
The fear she would always hide

She was so scared
That he might fall for her
Go back to the old feelings
And want things to be how they were

But he reassured her
That's something he would never do
He liked her too much
To give so much pain to go through

Months had gone by
And they were still together
He promised her so much
Said he wanted to be with her forever

But then she finds out
The promises were lies
The old girl had told her everything
But no reason why

He had cheated on her
All the while saying "I love you"
Making so many promises
Everything was a lie too

He'd blame things on her
When the fault was always his
Their happiness faded
No more sweet bliss

But she still loved him
And didn't know what to do
Cared too much to let him go
She didn't care about the pain she went through

Her best friends would say things
And encourage letting him go
But she couldn't make them understand
That it's harder than they know

Soon she confronted him
But he denied it all the while
How could she think this
She's just in denial

But then he gave in
He sounded sorry too
But how can we trust him
After all he's put her through

He didn't only lie to her
But to his best friends
Never told us the truth
And thats where the trust came to an end

But she decided to forgive and forget
And keep the pain inside
It hurt all of us too
But sometimes it's just good to hide

I don't know what will happen
But I don't want her to get hurt
She deserves respect
Not being treated like dirt

She's my best friend
And I support her all the way
No matter her decision
By her side I will stay..
