You can't do it twice

The day I thought
I knew it all
Was the day life's journey
begin to call

Some storms stood still
and would never pass
While others move slow
through life's hourglass

All at once my days
turned into years
so I moved forward
without any fears

Then one day
I begin to realize
That I was starring at darkness
with clouds in my eyes

So I picked myself up
as to begin again
So I could look back
and smile at the end

If I could propose
to give any advice
Beware of life's darkness
You can't do it twice
