Sometimes I fear

by Sabine Taylor   May 13, 2005

I was right in my romantic mood when I wrote this poem, but I hope you like it and sometimes I wonder if you could write me a comment and tell me what you think about it, because that would really help me, I guess. Thank you a lot.
much love , Sabine

Sometimes I wonder
If there’s a softer spot
Than the one that places your heart
Filled with kindness and indulgence
That makes me fear it could shiver
If I would touch it

Sometimes I wonder
How it’s possible
That so much love and mildness
Can be united in that place
Right under your chest
And I fear that it might break
If I would call a little part of this mine

Sometimes I wonder
If somebody sent you from heaven
To show me that true love
Has still a chance
But then I fear
If this might be all a dream
And in the next second
It could all burst like bubbles
If I would touch you,
Call a little part of you mine
A spot softer than silk
Sweeter than honey
Purer than heaven’s clouds

Purer than heaven’s clouds? Tough standards. :)

    Great Poem!

I relate with the touch, while enjoying the warm burn of desire.
