Sucidie of a Friend

by Cait   May 13, 2005

Her cries in the night,
were to great to be heard.
No one bothered to listen,
afraid of what would be learned.

They ignored the cries,
of a girl lost in fate.
When morning would come,
it would be too late.

They wouldn't know,
until morning struck.
This girl lying there,
had died without luck.

Without a care in the world,
of what people would see.
I bent next to her,
afraid of what would happen to me.

She was my only,
best confiding friend.
One that would always be there,
until the very end.

I guess this was her end,
but I don't understand.
When we all try to help her,
the best we can.

Her body so cold,
just lying dead.
I wonder the thoughts,
that went through her head.

When she did what she did,
on this cold autumn night.
Did she do it with happiness,
or do it with fright?

I hope up in heaven,
she'll be just fine.
And be waiting for me,
when one end becomes mine.

This poem was excellent. I wish that I had more words to say...unfortunatly I don't think that words can describe it. It was very good.
