My Beating Plea

by Krete   May 14, 2005

Every story has an ending.
even the cliffhangers do.
some have a sort of spending,
a vision clear too blue.

People hurt others pretending,
playing as poetic minds,
but sadness inclines to bending,
in such that ruins lives.

For one day your heart will stop.
the endless beating pain.
serene sound moving,
the emptiness disdain.

Traffic lights turn green,
two turning signals flash,
openness is seen,
both two victims in a crash.

Swirling Sunday showers,
broken dishes fallen low,
obscene works-man hours,
another spoken crow.

...

Please stop my beating heart,
end the flowing pain,
stop this story's start,
break open into rain.

Fix my broken gaze,
my constant breathing lungs.
the sadness within daze,
a part of me to be hung.

Press my will against your own,
forget the thought of me,
accept my forcing loan,
and disregard all of me.

Just throw me out of creation.
stop my name from list.
a baby born existence...
make it " un - exist. "

When we all look for the ending of our lives, the one main question comes to my mind. Does it ever really end? If our lives simply stop and give way to our pain how is it that we remember this life we're living? That's about the time when my air passages contrict and panic at the thought that we never truly die. I wish it would be that easy, but i dont think anything in this wolrd could ever be that easy, even death. Beautiful poem.
    Much love,

Aww.. I hope, with all of my heart, that you don't truly feel this way within! The poem itself was amazing; so awesome! But that's to be expected from such a great poet like yourself. :-) I'm always here if you need someone to talk to.. I know it's not the same as having someone in person, but if you ever need me, remember, I'm just an e-mail (a click) away. :-) Take care and have a great weekend!
