What does it mean,
What does it do.
Has it got a meaning,
If I say ‘I love you’?

Is it the truth,
Or is it a lie.
Will it still be here,
The day that I die?

Is it ever-lasting,
Or will it stop one day.
When will it disappear,
How long will it stay?

Is it his smile,
Is it in my tears.
Is it in your dreams and wishes,
Is it in their fears?

Does it exist in enemies,
Does it exist in friends.
When did it start in our lives,
And most of all when will it end?
