Letting Me Go...

We use to be the best of friends.
We would go places and spend most of our time together.
But lately it seems that you starting to let go of me.

Now your telling me that our friendship is coming to end.
Why are you pushing me away?
Don’t you see that’s not the way I want our friendship to end.

You tell me that I’ll forget you and that I’ll find someone new.
But I thought that I had told you already that I feel alone and sad without you.
Your one of my great friends and there’s no words to explain how much I appreciate.

I guess I’ve out grown the friend I use to be.
But people do change, and nothing stays the same.
So if your starting to let go right now I guess its ok.
Cause when the day comes to put this all to end
it probably wont be that hard to mend.
