That Girl Is Me

by KatkidaElric   May 14, 2005

A young girl only 12 years of age,
A soul full of madness, a heart full of rage.

A perfect life, she had no cares,
But no one knew what was really there.

She'd come home every day her eyes not so dry,
She'd go to her room lock the door and then cry.

"What's wrong with me?" she'd scream into the night,
She'd drop to her knees, her fists clenched tight.

A perfect life? That's what it seemed
But her life was never what she had dreamed.

Every night laying awake in bed,
Wondering if shed wake in heaven instead.

Sure she thought about it, but never pulled through.
There was so much to live for, so much to do.

Now if you think this story is just make-believe,
Think again cuz that 12 year old girl is me.
