To My Mother

by Saadiqa   May 14, 2005

You gave me life.
You brought me into this world.
You took good care of me when I was a little girl.
Now I’m much older but I’ll always be your little girl.
We may quarrel sometimes,
Sometimes I may think you’re wrong
But In the end, after the fight.
You’re my mother, you’ll always be right.
I’ll always be your little baby.
And you’re my loving caring mummy.
That will never change.

I need to thank you.
For everything that you’ve done.
I’ll always be indebted to you.
You were there for me through it all.
You’ve helped me when I was helpless.
You picked me up when I had fallen.
You wiped my tears away.
You kissed away all my pain.
You did and still do everything for me.
Cause you’re my mother.
You go above and beyond the call of duty.
You’re more than just my mother.
You’re everything I need.
You are my comfort,
You are my source of love.

Yes sometimes things may go wrong.
But no matter what happens.
You’re the best mother a child could have.
Thank you Mom for everything you’ve done.
I can never repay you.
For all the things you did for me.
You are my mother
And Mummy I Love You!
