No Turning Back

All she needed was a friend
Her pain would never mend
All she could do was write
It helped her in her fight
Of sadness, she just thought it was madness
She hated her life
And everything in it, so she took comfort in her knife
She'd use it to ease the pain
She thought she had nothing to gain
She thought no one cared
But they did, they just never dared
To try to help her or ask what they could do for her
She always felt alone
She just sat by the phone
But no one would ever call
She tried to take the fall
But it was never her fault
She'd only let it out when she cut
The wounds would never shut
She thought the only thing she could do is commit suicide
All she needed was a guide
One day she used her knife
And cut too deep to end her life
Next thing she knew she was dead
All these positive thoughts suddenly came into her head
And she didn't want to be dead
But it was too late, she had reached the end
She never quit knew how to defend
Herself, she was too overwelmed with sadness
Everyone thought her suicide was madness
Before she died all she ever did was hide
In the shawdow of darkness
Everyone thought she was heartless
But they were wrong
She wanted appreciation for so long
She'd do about anything for anyone
But everyone thought all they needed was already done
It was never fun and she didn't much like the sun
She was always in the dark
And it really left a mark
It led her end that never mend
It led to her suicide
