A girl i know

Theres a girl i know
her life is sad
she cries at night
and inside she feels bad
she wants to get out of this world
she just wants to die
but she just cant do it
so instead she cries
she has bad memories
that haunt her everyday
she wants to get rid of them
but they wont go away
she tries to smile
she tries to fit in
but no matter how hard she tries
her attempt is still slim
she has tried to escape
by cutting her wrist
but she cant go too deep
she has to resist
i see her everyday
i have to, you see
because i see her when i look in the mirror
because that girl is me.
