As they both lie, both alone
on the summer nights grass
the full moon, spilling light,
shining on their faces,
they stare at the stars,
she longs for warmth,
he holds her hand,
they look into each others eyes,
nothing mattered anymore,
they were with each other,
he pulls her closer,
she starts to breathe faster,
her head on his shoulder,
she felt on top of the world,
he whispered in her ears,
i love you,
she broke away from him,
he looked at her, searching her eyes,
for answers, a tear formed
in her eyes, she whispered back
i love you too...
she gently pulled his hand,
and placed on her heart,
she whispered,
this is the heart that loves you..
she pulled him closer...
the moon disappeared,
the clouds collided, and burst,
rain fell.. showering the lovers..
