Cutting

A word of advice to all of you
Listen to my words
And listen true
For some are cutters
And some are not
Some are thinking about it
And some have stopped
Though it may seem to those of you
Who have been thinking about cutting
And for those who do
That cutting is the way out
Of sadness
Of pain
Or maybe the way out of shame
That it might help
For the time being
But in the future
You’ll be still seeing
That the scars are still there
Everywhere
And they will never leave
You will be constantly reminded
Of the sadness
Pain
And shame
That u felt when you made them

And that only causes more sadness
In your heart
Because of each and every mark
So as you think
When you are sad
And that’s enough of all that u have had
And you pick up your blade
To make a mark
To let your sadness bleed out of you heart
Remember that it only causes more pain
And in the future you might be more ashamed
For when you see
All of your old marks
It will give you a sadder heart
