Bruises Fade..

The bruises, they fade,
But the pain is the same.
Why do you do this Mommy?
Why do you keep me so afraid?

This is my life, living in
A war i call home.
It's all getting far to much,
And i feel so alone.

Mommy, what do you see,
When you look at my face?
You tell me your doing this,
To put me in my place.

Please, please stop Mommy,
I can't take it anymore!
Once again, i see some stars,
As i fall to the floor.

One of these days, Mommy,
You will got to far.
The everyone will see,
Just how cruel, you truly are!

But your still my Mommy,
And i love you with all my heart.
I hope some day, you'll love me back,
Instead of tearing me apart.

    Well i know how you feel cause me and my dad are going through a phase and well ya you right i love him. i really like this poem it has a very good ending and a great beginning. and you are right at the end NO MATTER WHAT PEOPLE DO TO YOU< YOU STILL LOVE THEM!!

    I know how that works.
    I don't like my brother at all, but I still love him. I'm mean, the not liking is more loathing. Almost hate.
