Your Eyes

by Maisha   May 15, 2005

You never try,
Try to stay.
And when I look at you,
You just look away.

You can see the hurt,
The confusion in my eyes.
I know you can,
I know you can feel the ways.

The bitter moments towards the end,
You try to say "the better place is where i'm being sent."

But I can see it your eyes,
That you don't believe your lies.
And hating yourself for what you do
Your selfish suicide.

Your eyes tell different stories than your lips,
And all the while I wonder whether you believe your spoken lies.
