It's never as easy as you make it seem
I hate all the fights and those words you scream
I have to defend you more than I should
I wish you'd see that I did what I could.
I do have those feelings that I said I did
But I also know that I'm still just a kid
It it's meant to be; trust that it will
But until then; know that I love you still.
I bet you hate me after what we've been through
But I guess what I'm saying is that I don't hate you
I really wish that you could just see
That right now I need to just be me.
I know to be the first of my poems you've ever read
You must be upset at the things that I've said
But always know that without a maybe
I will always remember my love and baby!
