Angel

by Allura   May 15, 2005

The angel fell to her knees,
as her tears fell onto the powdery clouds.
God's mercy only stretched so far,
and finally she had reached the line.
The happiness granted to every angel was stripped away with her silky wings,
and she was casts into the black solitude.
Eternity lingered in her mind,
as her darkened world ate at her soft complexion,
and her creamy skin turned pale.
The eyes were cast down upon her,
as she was slowly shunned into a Hell unknown to anyone,
human, angel, or demon.
Only the Devil himself would lock eyes with the shamed angel,
and his artificial kindness drew her into a world of fire and reign.
The sins she committed as an angel were erased from her mind,
but deepened into her soul,
and she lost her privilege of Heaven,
and sank into her right to Hell.
Her wrongs only increased,
as her rights faded away,
and Hell consumed the doomed angel.
Her beauty was stolen,
and locked away in Heaven,
along with the goodness she left behind.
