The Tear

by KitchBlood   May 16, 2005

I see a face,
distorted, untrue,
twisted in lies and contempt.

I see two eyes,
clouded with storms,
of the confused mind.

I see two hands,
with black fingernails,
letting the soul shine through.

I see two feet,
with blisteres,
from walking in the rain.

I see two ears,
hanging with skulls,
not native to their owner.

I see a tear,
with my reflection,
and I am lost within.
