I have finally done it
Against all I ever said
I went against my promises
And began to love you

I know I said
I would never love again
But you managed to reach
A part of me hidden deep within

Loving you was not on my list
Keeping my distance
Was a priority back then

You kept coming hard
Captivating my heart
Refusing to let go
Refusing to let me depart

Now that you have won
You walk around so smug
Ignoring my needs
For I am no longer a priority

You got what you wanted
You managed to succeed
All while taking
Another lonely lost piece of me
