Guide me please
To a safe place
Away from this life

Hide me from
Life’s darkest danger
Protect from society’s disgrace

Don’t let another fist
Hit me in the face
Do not let heartbreak
Head my way

Wrap your arms around me
Shield me from pain
Continue to tell me
That loving you is ok
