Once A Placid Tear

by Alex   May 16, 2005

It was once a placid tear
The tear of hope, the tear of joy
The one that sparkled at first kiss
The one not present if no bliss
The placid tear, a merry one
A diamond gleaming in the sun, But yet alas the tear does wilt
And and wields within it lust, and guilt,
The fiery flame sent from the flare
of demons voice in demons lair
And once a tear sparkling at dusk
Now ashes to ashes, dust to dust
