Don't Wake Up.

Can you keep away,
Keep away from me
I've asked you nicely
You're like a stranger to me
You've changed so much,
But now you're gone
I get to see you asleep
One last time,
One more memory to erase from my mind
Forgetting the worst,
Remembering the hearse
That carried you away
And you finally did it,
You got rid of your pain
You finally screwed up,
The biggest of your mistakes
From beginning to end
From life to death
Your life changing ways,
And how they left me all upset
Did you even care to think about the people you'd hurt?
You did hurt!
We cried for you more times before
Now it's a waste,
The tears that fall from my face
Down to the ground
Soaking into the dirt
Onto your coffin,
And it stopping on the wood
With a sincere "Sorry."
And "I know it hurts."
And the tears are still falling
Down from my face
Forgive me the pain
That I caused on this day
Here at a funeral
A tomb stone with your name
A hole to be dropped in
A coffin where you lay
A rose to kiss,
And a door to shut
You're buried in,
So don't wake up.
