Bury You Alive

Bury You Alive

You don’t deserve a friendship that you never did like. It’s just a waste of time telling someone lies. Nothing will make up for the scars and pain. It doesn’t matter now, it’s not like you care. You never did, you played this game and your intention was to win. Cut your throat, see if I care. I would have, but that was a long time ago, when fairy tales did exist, where our friendship was just another story in a book. I would read those stories to myself at night. We were kids back then, now we’ve grown up. Well, at least I have, you’re still living a lie that you can’t hide. You destroy your own future and your own dreams just by living. I was never in your way, but you still pushed me down. It’s ok; I’ll stand up again. I can’t say the same for you. When you fall down, I’ll be there to bury the remains. You’ll try to reach your hand out to me, but I will turn away. I’ll go on without you. I’ll leave this place alone. It’s better this way.

not bad for your first freestyle poem. not bad at all. i like how you clearly displayed your anger, while at the same time looked back at the past with a smile somewhat.
