Friday night

Friday night
was the happiest
Ive been
in a long while.

I was laughing
all night.
That hasn't happened
in a long while.

Away from my parents
with only my Friends
with a few bottles of beers
a smile from ear to ear.

I was laughing
that much
that it all felt weird,
that a tear started to appear.

i was crying,
not because of sadness
but of
Happiness.

I guess i was
a bit sad
because it was the
happiest Ive been
in a long while.
