3000 worlds destroyed (part 2)

As the jet flies over the dusky sky
A bee sprawls across a flower
On that day 300 people died
On that cool day
No, not a 13th, but an 11th
Yes, a cool 11th in September
And yet the scene above is serene
A bird flies, twitches, and continues
As the people moan of distort
And as the bee buzzes Merill on
3000 people died
