Or when out of me the blood seeped?

Where were you when my life would fall apart?
Or when I died from a broken heart?

Where were you when my dreams got washed away?
Why weren't you there that day?

What about all the times I didn't want to get up?
You were never there to help pick me up.

Where were you when the tears fell for hours?
Or when my life was slowly devoured?

Where were you when I needed a hand?
Or when my feet were to weak to stand?

Where were you when they ripped out my soul?
Why did you just let me go?

What about when I needed you most?
You never once held me close.

Where were you when my eyes were bleeding?
Or when I reached out pleading?

Where were you when I stopped breathing?
Or when my heart began beating?

Where were you when nothing was right?
Why did you slip out of sight?
